Servicing

Owners whose vehicles are covered under existing manufacturers warranty need not worry about invalidating this when using Phil Davies for there servicing needs. The car block exemption law allows out of dealer network servicing to take place without impacting on your warranty.

The modern day motor vehicle relies heavily on electronics to run safety and efficiently. We at Phil Davies are equipped with dealer level diagnostic software and online support, keeping us up to date with the latest technologies. This enables us to diagnose the full range of system faults.

We carry out all servicing to the same criteria:
Time and Distance - 10,000 miles or 1 year (whatever occurs first) indicated by service light.
Longlife servicing - 18-22,000 miles yearly.

All services treated with engine flush to remove any contamination in your engine.

MOT - Class 4

Mot’s are a legal requirement in the UK. Currently all vehicles aged three years and over must be tested every year. The annual testing of your vehicle is to ensure it meets minimum road safety standards. MOT tests can be carried out on your vehicle up to 30 days prior to its current expiry date.

All mot’s are carried out in-house, we have four fully qualified MOT testers. Last year we installed a new I man testing bay, which brought us right up to date with the latest equipment.

Cam belt service

Engine mileage as specified or 4 years whichever comes first as recommended by VAG

Cam belts are replaced with complete kits, pulleys, guides & tensioners.

We strongly recommend the fitment of a water pump at this time if it driven by the cam belt. (water pump failure can cause costly engine damage).

Coolant changed with G12 long life.

ALL CAM BELT KITS AND WATER PUMP ARE GENUINE VAG UNITS. THEY

CARRY 2 YEAR WARRANTY, NO MILEAGE LIMIT

Parts stocked and supplied either by the VAG group, which carry a two year warranty, or leading original equipment manufactures. Quality and safety are our prime concern so its important we only fit parts of the highest quality.
